DESCRIPTION

Mammillaria spinosissima cv. Un Pico is a nursery produced cultivar of the popular Red Headed Irishman (Mammillaria spinosissima). A rewarding cactus to grow, Pico is a globose, then cylindrical cactus with long white spines and deep pink flowers around the top of the plant in late spring.

As with all cacti, Pico likes a very bright position, with some relief from afternoon sun. Plant in a very well drained cactus mix and water only when dry.
