Shipping and Delivery

How much is shipping?

We offer a flat rate of $14.95 for most orders. Some exclusions apply, such as large or bulky items and very large or heavy orders, which may attract an additional surcharge. Feel free to contact us for the best price before ordering.

Australia Post Express Post is also available for selected orders for an additional cost.

Plants are generally posted on Mondays, with some metro areas posted on Tuesdays and local Tasmanian areas on Wednesdays, via Australia Post. Orders for plants need to be in by Friday night for dispatch the following week - with some exceptions. Other items are dispatched within 1-3 business days.

Who do you ship with?

We use Australia Post for all plant orders.

Orders without plants may be shipped by Australia Post, or alternative courier service, such as TNT or Aramex. We reserve the right to select the most appropriate delivery service at time of dispatch. 

We may split orders and send plants and other items separately.

Where do you deliver to?

Plants are sent to all states except WA, NT. We also do not send plants to the remote islands and territories such as Norfolk, Lord Howe and Christmas Is. Due to biosecurity requirements, there are some plants or other items that cannot be sent to certain states and this will be noted in the description.

All other items are posted Australia wide.

What is the dispatch time?

For plant dispatch times, please see shipping of plants below. Plants are posted on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays (selected areas) only. On public holidays we post next business day if suitable (except Christmas and Easter). Please note that we may hold back cold tender plants if our temperatures here are too low.

Orders that do not contain plants are generally dispatched within 1-3 business days of receipt of order/payment.

Express Post option is for the Express Post carrier service only. Dispatch time remains the same.

Do you have a collection option?

No, we are unable to offer a click and collect service at this stage.

Do you have local delivery?

We can organize delivery for orders in selected local areas by prior arrangement only. Cost will be determined based on the size of order and location. Please get in touch prior to ordering to check if available in your area.

Shipping of plants

Generally, most plant orders received by Friday will be posted on the following week. Some plants may need additional time to be prepared (see below). In peak times, there may be a delay in posting. We may need to hold off posting if the temperature is too low. You will be advised when this is the case.

QLD, NSW (other than Sydney), ACT, SA, VIC Regional
Shipping Mondays - order cutoff Friday.
TAS, VIC Metro and NSW (Sydney)
Shipping Mondays and Tuesdays - order cutoff Friday (Saturday for Tuesday shipping).
TAS (Launceston and surrounds)
Shipping Wednesday also.

Certain succulents, due to their fragile and highly perishable nature, may be posted bare rooted and dry (especially in winter). We have found that this significantly reduces the likelihood of damage in transit and the possibility of mould or fungal issues while in a confined space. For this reason succulents will often require an additional 2 or 3 days for preparation prior to shipment.

Plant biosecurity

As noted previously, we do not currently ship plants to Western Australia, the Northern Territory or the remote islands. There are also some plants that cannot be sent to other states due to biosecurity restrictions. We will try and note this in the description, however, it is the responsibility of the buyer to confirm that the plants they are purchasing can be imported into their own state. Please check the relevant state biosecurity website for information. We cannot be held liable for biosecurity costs or fees, or the loss of plants or other products due to destruction or confiscation at border checks.
