DESCRIPTION

Rhipsalis paradoxa is an unusual looking, epiphytic cactus, with long, chain-like stems that can grow to 5m in length. Small, white flowers bloom in early spring.

The Chain Cactus, as it is commonly known, is exceptionally hardy and can tolerate long periods of neglect and will survive in low light conditions for some time.

As with most epiphytic cacti, it prefers a well drained organic potting mix and a position out of direct sun. Keep moist in the warmer months and a little drier in winter.
