DESCRIPTION

Rhipsalis mesembryanthemoides is a relatively slow growing, epiphytic cactus with small, bright green branchlets on strong stems. They resemble the leaves of the genus Mesembryanthemum, hence the name.

It has numerous small, white to pinkish flowers, about 15mm in diameter, followed by white berries.

The Clumpy Mistletoe Cactus, as with all the Rhipsalis, does not like full sun. Grow in a position where it receives filtered light and only morning or evening sun. It likes an organic soil mix. An orchid mix or peat mixed with bark pieces and perlite are ideal.

To keep me at my best

I like well-drained, organic potting mix that is kept moist, but not wet. I prefer bright, filtered light. Bring me inside if very cold.
