Epiphyllum oxypetalum
Queen of the Night Cactus

An epiphytic cactus with wide strap-like, flat trailing stems. It has gorgeous, highly fragranced, showy white flowers, that open only once and only at night, generally lasting a single night. Epiphyllum oxpetalum likes a position with bright, filtered light. Plant in a light airy organic mix (such as peat with perlite or orchid bark) and water moderately, allowing it to dry partially between waterings.
