  • Chlorophytum comosum, green Spider Plant.

The Spider Plants are extremely easy to grow and are great at brightening up any room. Position in an area with bright or filtered light, but away from direct sunlight at the hottest times of the day. Water moderately, keeping moist, but not wet. Spider plants can be sensitve to chemicals in tap water and may develop brown tips to the leaves. Plant in a well draining organic compost mix. Chlorophytum comosum are not frost tolerant. They will tolerate temperatures just above 0°C if under cover, but move the plant inside to a warmer area if your winters are harsh.

Important note: Plants can vary in size depending on current batch. Plantlets (offsets/cuttings) can be purchased when available. These are offered in packs of 3 and are cut to order. They will be posted wrapped in sphagnum moss. They may or may not have roots or root nodules.
