DESCRIPTION

An interesting (hybrid?) epiphytic cactus with a slightly messy looking growth pattern, although the stems smooth out and widen as it matures. It is an easy care plant once established. This plant has a range of names depending on where you look. However, we have not as yet been able to get an exact identification, nor determined its parental origin. It's morphology suggests it fits in the genus Epiphyllum . Our specimen has not yet flowered, so we cannot comment on this, but it's exciting to wait. It is available from various outlets with the name such as 'Bits and Pieces', 'Little Banda Bits', as well as being placed under numerous genera, such as Disocactus and Rhipsalis.

As an epiphytic cactus, it does prefer to be kept out of direct sun. It likes a rich, airy organic mix, kept moist, but not wet.
