Rhipsalis sulcata, (often mislabelled as R. micrantha), is an attractive trailing epiphytic cactus. It has bright to dark green segmented branches with small white flowers in spring. The flowers are followed by small, white berries.

As with all the Rhipsalis, R. sulcata does not like full sun. Place in a position that receives morning or evening sun only and filtered light. Plant into an organic mix of peat or compost with some bark and perlite mixed in. Keep the plant moist, but not wet, and move under cover if you are in an area prone to frost.
