  • Chlorophytum comosum 'Vittatum' is a moderately fast growing spider plant. It differs from Chlorophytum comosum 'Variegatum' in that its leaves are green with a central cream or white stripe, whereas Variegatum has white margins.

Spider plants are easy to grow and require little maintenance. They like a well drained organic soil, that is kept slightly moist. They tolerate most light levels, except the harsh afternoon sun, making them ideal for most indoor environments.
